The life story of Niko Vujicic is the story of a man who managed to overcome the unthinkable with his faith. When he saw it for the first time, Father Borislav died. Dusko's mother did not want to see him with her eyes. Today, Nick is a successful businessman and one of the most famous motivational speakers in the world. Nick was born with tetra-Amelia syndrome. It is a very rare disease that is characterized by the absence of all four extremities. Tom of his childhood, Nick struggled with karst self-emergence, peer abuse, depression, and unrest. Then he wrote down why he was different, he tried to commit suicide, and today he is the inspiration of many.
He was born in Melbourne and is the first child of Borisav and Duska, who left Serbia in 1964 as emigrants. They went to Australia belly up for bread. When it was done on December 4, 1982, they were desperate. There was no medical reason why their firstborn would have this disorder. What was supposed to be the most mediocre day in their life’s prison is in trauma and shock. Fearing for him and his future, they did not even expect their son to become a modern modern hero in whom millions of people around the world would carry inspiration.
And, how could we ... The level of a child was filled with countless difficulties and problems. As a boy, he constantly prayed to God to give him hands and new ones ... hoping that it would be the morning when he woke up, they had elbows, hands, fists and fingers. Nick tirelessly obeyed the wish.
Sunday when he went to bed, he told his brother that he would take his own life when he turned twenty-one. A few hours later, he woke up when his father was sitting on the edge of the bed: "What are you talking about suicide?", His father asked. "We are always there for you," comforted Nikola, starving his voice. The conversation was long. After that, Nikola's thoughts about suicide disappeared. One of the difficulties he encountered was what is prohibited under Australian law from attending regular school, despite having only a physical, not a mental disability. It was only when the law changed that he was one of the first students with disabilities to graduate from Victoria Elementary School in Melbourne.
He learned to write with two toes on his left foot. But that's not all. With his left foot, he also learned to type on a computer (he can type 43 words per minute), play football, surf, ride a skateboard, throw tennis balls, answer the phone, wipe and pour water ... heavy genetic pores that are characterized lack of all four limbs. Despite that, he managed to take over everything recently and cope with his disability. Only 17 years ago, the non-profit organization "Life without twins" was founded, a stimulating lecture by the state around the world.
Nick knew the motivational speaker by far, who, despite his physical shortcomings, managed to achieve many things he was talking about - he traveled to many countries, gave a hundred lectures, started a faculty lecturer, wrote.
Nick went through a very difficult phase in his life. I know that he also had thoughts of suicide, but also many other problems that we cannot even imagine. That is why he now shares his experiences with people all over the world, because when a man who has neither arms nor legs talks about happiness and that we should be grateful every day for everything we have, it is simply unbelievable. I take off his hat. He is definitely one of the biggest inspirations in my life.
