Recent studies show that as many as 90% of bees have already disappeared from the planet. The reasons for this extinction depend on the geographical area, but the main mains include the mass destruction of forests, the lack of a safety place to make fertiles, a lack of flowers, uncontrolled use of pesticides and soil changes.
And why were bees named the most important beings on the planet?
With the support of the Agrarian Innovation Foundation (FIA), major University's Beekeeping Entrepreneurship Centre (CeapiMayor) and the Beekeeping Corporation of Chile (Cach), they conducted research that showed that bees are the only creatures in the world that do not carry any pathogens, be it fungi, viruses or bacteria.
As much as 70% of the world's agriculture depends on these insects; in other words: if we look at 100 types of food, bees are responsible for the creation of as many as 70 of them.
Also, pollination, for which bees are again responsible, enables the reproduction of plants that feed millions of animals, and without them, fauna would soon begin to disappear.
Honey produced by bees not only serves people for nutrition, but also has multiple positive effects on our health and skin.
According to a quote attributed to Albert Einstein, if the bees disappeared, people would only have four years to live.
And why do we think the bees are disappearing?
The Federal Institute of Technology in Switzerland is presenting a theory that blames waves emitted by mobile phones. They explain that the waves that are created during phone calls are able to disorient bees, causing them to be lost, which directly endangers their lives.
Researcher and biologist Daniel Favre, in collaboration with other researchers, conducted 83 experiments showing that in the presence of these waves, bees produce 10 times louder sound than usual, a signal to other bees that they are at risk and must leave the hive.
Without a doubt, the main reason for the bee's disappearance is attributed to the nickname of the crops. Columbia cites this practice as an example, because over the years, as many as 34% of bees with agrotoxins have died of poisoning.
Is there a solution to this problem?
Of course there are solutions, but the thing is that it's quite difficult to implement them, because (negative) production and agriculture practices are quite deeply ingraced in people's worlds.
However, in the hope that they can be implemented fairly quickly, three solutions are proposed:
· Completely prohibit, not just reduce, the use of toxic pesticides.
· Promote entirely natural exchanges.
· Continuously research and monitor the health, condition and preservation of bees.
