Rural tourism in Croatia has the most diverse and very attractive natural and cultural-historical structure and that is why it attracts curious tourists! What distinguishes the product of rural tourism from other tourist products is the desire for the guest to get personal (closer) contact with man and nature and to enable him to participate in the activities, traditions and life of the local population.

Rural tourist regions from the easternmost part of Croatia through Slavonia and Baranja, central and western Croatia, Lika and Gorski kotar, Istria, Kvarner and Dalmatia, the interior of the islands and the Dalmatian hinterland on family farms, provide tourists with a special feeling of comfort through relaxation with sounds from nature , physical activity through various types of recreation in nature, socializing with family, meeting new people and their customs and enjoying indigenous delicacies!

Cultural sights, small towns and traditional villages, sacral buildings, castles, museums and galleries, as well as numerous events represent a great cultural treasure for rural tourism.

Rural tourism provides the traveler with a complete vacation. Fresh air, family farms, numerous holiday homes, untouched nature and the lack of crowds with, of course, indigenous cuisine, are the main reasons to come and enjoy the rural tourism of Croatia. But the pleasures do not end there, because in addition to vacation in nature, there are opportunities to participate in special forms of activities and other forms of tourism such as ecotourism, adventure, cycling, health and cultural tourism, walking, climbing, horseback riding, hunting, fishing and various educations.

We are proud to note that Croatia is rich in diverse natural resources. Thermal springs with health resorts are an excellent offer of health tourism in continental Croatia. Of course, we must not miss the Istrian spa located in the northwestern part of the Istrian peninsula.

In a relatively small area, thanks to the specific geographical position, the Pannonian, Dinaric, Mediterranean and pre-Alpine biogeographical influences are intertwined in Croatia, which contributes to a distinct landscape and biological diversity. Visit one of the eight national parks and 11 nature parks, six of which are mountain parks: Velebit, Biokovo, Medvednica, Papuk, Učka and Žumberak. Two island nature parks are unavoidable - Telašćica and Lastovo archipelago. Kopački rit and Lonjsko polje are representatives of the biological wealth of lowland floodplains.

Come and enjoy Croatia - a harmonious whole of diversity, because the coastal and continental parts complement in many tourist offers and make one very attractive tourist destination for vacation pleasures throughout the year!
