In the past, many Indonesians used to communicate by means of correspondence. However, technological advances have changed the culture in society in terms of establishing communication.
Now, people are accustomed to communicating via e-mail or through other social media. This cultural change has a positive impact on society because it can establish communication without the boundaries of space and time.
But this technological advancement can also be viewed negatively when it makes people underestimate face-to-face communication. Spending too much time on the device is feared that it can distance us from the people around us.
How to dress
The way people dress today has been heavily influenced by other cultures. Nowadays it can be found easily, in a more modern way of dressing and can reach various groups, especially young people. The presence of technology makes us exposed to a lot of information both from within and outside the country.
We can see various variations of fashion and style through magazines, shows, and social media. Not infrequently the clothes worn by movie stars are imitated and even become a trend in Indonesia.
Lifestyle
Advances in technology make it easier for people to find various information on the internet. Without realizing it, the lifestyle of an individual or group begins to change. Some of these changes are positive and some are negative.
Examples of positive lifestyle changes are diligent exercise, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, reducing meat consumption, and so on. Examples of negative lifestyle changes are drug use, promiscuity, and so on.

The style of language also changes as technology advances. Regional languages are rarely used and replaced with Indonesian, as the national language. Because not all Indonesians understand other regional languages.
