I do not know since when, the term sadness became so popular. Troubled is often identified with anxiety, sad and restlessness. Most young people use the term upset to denote feelings of anxiety, dissatisfaction, and uncertainty. The feeling of anxiety is generally manifested in the form of complaints.
Various social media provide a lot of space and flexibility for users to express what is on their mind, call it Facebook. In the slogan printed on the wall alone it says, "what are you thinking about today". This encourages users (spontaneously) to write down what is on their mind.
Unfortunately, almost 90% of what most people think are complaints. Complaints can be in the form of anger, dissatisfaction, heartbreak, abuse, etc. Try checking the timeline (every minute) on your homepage. How many express their frustration compared to positive statements (useful information, etc.)?
In abnormal psychology (Nevid, et al, 2007) upset, dissatisfied, upset can be included in the category of anxiety disorders (anxiety disorder). Anxiety disorder is a disorder in which a person feels anxious for a long time and in a continuous period. Anxiety disorders are common things that are owned by everyone (everyone has their own problems) but if he is not able to handle the problem and takes place continuously (continuously) it will lead a person to a more severe disorder (depression).
Being sadness means complaining, giving up easily and being fragile. Wow, I can't imagine if anyone is proud to be a sadness generation.
Indeed, it is not necessarily what you write on Facebook reflects who you really are. And there is a little feeling of relief Writing a status on facebook about a problem (complaint) that has been thought about, but the problem will not be solved just because you write it on facebook / other social media. It's better to act a lot, than just dwell on facebook, or continue to wander on the timeline that (of course) can be seen by many people. Well!
Indeed (again), not complaining is difficult. I myself still often complain. Obviously, let's act. Do something. It's 2021, are you still sadness? Don't want to be a sadness generation. :D
