Any reason for wanting to start selling online, ecommerce offers huge opportunities for anyone with an internet connection.

Of all the ways of making money online, it's the easiest way to understand and get started with.

How to start online?

Before you begin investing time and money into an online business, you want to be sure that selling online is right for you.

So lets take a look at pros and cons before we start, and weight them up and make an informed decision.

PROS

Aside from working at home in your pajamas, there are other amazing reasons to work from home while building your eCommerce business

  1. Make your own hours and choose how far you want to take it. Possibilities are endless. The choice is yours! No boss to suck up to. It's freedom.10

  2. You can follow your interest. When you start selling online, you can turn your hobbies and passion into a profitable business.

  3. It is something you are already familiar with. If you've bought or sold something online, you basically understand how it works

  4. You don't have to worry about storing inventory if you don't want to. (It is called dropshipping)

  5. It is fun! At least, we think it is.

CONS

This is important before you begin selling online, so you set yourself realistic to expectations.

  1. It takes time. It can take you a month or two to see the consistent result. Well, its unlikely to accumulate a $100 or pesos worth of sales.

  2. You were all the hats. As a an owner, you are team of one. You'll take on the roles of the marketer, accountant, web designer as well as everything. If somthing goes wrong you can't blame anyone, you take all the responsibility.

  3. There is a learning curve. If you did sold a few ty ing online, you're one step ahead of your competitors! However, you'll need to step up your game to sell online professionally.

  4. It's not all passive income. You'll hopefully be dealing with regular inquiries, regular sales, and regular shipments, which means it will require you to do real work, invest time and efforts. Until you can afford to hire staff. Even then, you'll want to remain involved in everything.

If you're happy to spend a little time developing your brand, building your reputation and optimizing your process.. The sky is the limit.

To simplify all of these, this isn't get-rich-quick scheme.
