Uncertainty could be a comfort in life
Come to think of it, we use the words may, might, can, and could. Those words describe the likelihood of something happening or the ability of a subject to do an action.
When we use these words, we mean that an action could be done or not. Or, something may happen or may not happen.
If for example, we mean that something could lead to something, then there is no guarantee that it will indeed go that way.
The chances that a grave consequence will happen is not a hundred percent.
Sometimes, these uncertainties are just so comforting that we have hope that things will still be good in the end.
Hope. Even just a percent can give us hope. And why not hope for the best? It can lighten our weary hearts.
Uncertainty is surely worrisome especially if we do not know where to stand or we do not know what to wait for.
Uncertainty is stressful. We need a certain amount of patience to be able to bear the agony of waiting or not knowing what is.
Be that as it may, we can always hope that the result or the end is positive. We just have to simply be positive as well.
It is a psychological battle sometimes.
When we notice the first signs of a disease, we suddenly become worried about the diagnosis. We get stressed, worried, and depressed.
Why me? You ask. How did I end up with this? Why so soon? Have I been negligent? Was I stubborn? Why didn't I listen?
But for as long as nothing has been declared as definite, then we can always be comforted thay maybe, it will be nothing bad.
I may be using the wrong term but well, uncertainty could be a comfort somehow.
