Hello friends. Tech news here!

Galaxy S22 Ultra will be the next big thing for you since Samsung has decided to not launch the Galaxy Note 21 this year. However, that doesn't mean the Note is canceled,it will launch next year in the form of Galaxy Note 22. We've heard quite a lot about the Galaxy S22 already even though the handset is well over 5 months away at this point. Today we have some more info about the handset and potential good news as well. But first let's talk about the model numbers, for all 3 of you who care about this stuff, here are the model numbers of the S22 line up,which indicates that there will be 3 S22 devices, a regular, Plus, and an Ultra variant. Anyway, the Galaxy S22 Ultra was expected to feature the under-display camera technology but Samsung decided to scrap the idea and at this point, you should know why.

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 will be the first Samsung phone to feature this technology but multiple reports are saying that the selfie quality isn't great and there's a glaring issue on the display around the area where the front camera lies. Now, Ice Universe is shedding more light on this. He says when you see the selfie quality from these under-display camera phones that are being released in the second half of the year including the Z Fold 3, you will realize why this technology isn't ready yet. and why Samsung has decided not to use it in their main flagships the Galaxy S22 lineup. He even shared some technical details that the pixel density of the display where the camera lies can only reach up to 400 PPI which is way less than 515 PPI that the S21 Ultra has. This means you cannot get a perfectly seamless look and will have a glaring issue as you can see in this video. So I think it's a right move to wait for this technology to mature than include a half-baked product especially on a high-level handset like the Galaxy S series. With that being said, when it comes to charging standards Samsung has been left behind compared to its Android counterparts, OnePlus, Xiaomi,Oppo all of them offer more than 65W of fast charging speeds. Xiaomi even offers 100W of charging solutions. Samsung on the other hand is still stuck at 25W. They have a 45W charging solution that debuted with the Galaxy Note 10 Plus but they have stopped using it for some reason.

The Galaxy Note 20 as well as the S21 only comes with 25W charging speeds. Maybe because there isn't a substantial difference between Samsung's 25W and 45W charging solutions. But that could change with the Galaxy S22 lineup as Samsung is testing more than 25W of solution for the handset. It could either be 45W or 65W and that's according to Ice Universe on Weibo. Now, Ice Universe has uploaded this video saying for people who don't want 65W charging can turn the fast charging off from settings. First of all, don't do that because even 15Wis considered as fast charging in Samsung's world and if you turn it off, your device will take longer to reach 100%. And second, if you don't want the 65W charger on the S22 then simply put don't buy the charger. Samsung isn't going to provide the charger inside the box, you'll have to buy it separately. So they aren't forcing people to use this technology. You can still use the 25W charger on the S22 that you're using on your current handset. It's all about choice.
