Today during lunch hour, suddenly received an update from news portal that Singapore PM Lee Hsien Loong called for a speech to the people Live on TV at 4pm.
Actually I found a bit surprise what announcement to be made , is that related to the Covid19 or any special uplift of travel ban.
Who knows the announcement was PM already advice the President the need to dissolve the parliament and give way for General Election 2020!
Wow, general election under covid19.. South Korea did it earlier, now Singapore follows.
Special thing about this election is no rally permit to be approved for pandemic control, so all parties can only carry out the campaign online.
And one more good thing I can tell- the election day falls on 10 July ! a friday ! Hurray, foreigners as I will get an extra public holiday due to general election!
