New passport collection notification

Today finally get an update from the embassy, after few emails to get a clear answer when can I collect the renewal passport.

Last month end, already online submitted the passport renewal request and chose to collect the new passport from the High Commission of Malaysia at Singapore. Even paid the full amount already.

The normal duration for renewal and collection at embassy is 1 day. Today you submit the renewal request and the next day you can approach the embassy for new passport collection.

Thanks to Covid19, the embassy also implement tight headcounts to those who visit the embassy including people like us who renew the passport.

So this round it took 2 months from online submission till passport collection.
