If you are Malaysian living abroard, and your passport is going to expire, you can consider a great service from the government- renew your passport online and get the physical passport from the Malaysian Embassy:

From the drop menu I saw, Malaysians staying in Hong Kong, Singapore, UK, United States, Indonesia Jakarta can have such passport renewal service at the Embassy.
After done online application done, you need to wait at least one day for passport processing , then you can make appointment with the Embassy for passport collection.
It's very convenient , isn't it?
Great info! I think it's very useful to all Malaysians working overseas. Noneed travel back home country and get the passport renewal done.
