Freedom Has Its Consequences
Freedom— sounds sweet, right?
But do we know what it takes to be liberated, what it means to be free? It’s a complex idea and different people have different perceptions of freedom.
To some people, it is the liberty to do whatever they want. While some people consider freedom as a manipulated way of thinking, they are free, but in reality, they aren’t.
However, as a whole, freedom can be digested as to the possibility of making decisions on own yet within certain limitations. Yeah— you must face hurdles when enjoying freedom. To be honest, there is nothing “Free” in this world, everything has a price to pay. But sometimes we are too occupied with the rewards that we forget what price we/others paid for things to happen.
The principal limitation we face while enjoying freedom is from the society we live in. Even though we want countless options to choose from, we must not forget that our actions may jeopardize others’ comforts, limiting us from enjoying the true essence of freedom— not as an imposed entity but as an act of kindness and obligation.
But there is something that goes beyond the actual meaning of freedom. By the grace of the Almighty, we all possess that unique feature— present among all living beings, still, unique from others— similar to our fingerprints.
It’s our thoughts. We are free to go above and beyond any limitation in any circumstance through the power of our thoughts.
Freedom in this context comes abstractly— perceivable only through our imagination and creativity. It’s also a spiritual creation, a manifestation of belief and action. And it doesn’t come simply out of anywhere, but your persona, social position, and most importantly, what your mind can afford determines how far you can go through your imagination.
It’s a constant fight between your ability and creativity— one cannot grow without the other. Sometimes you may have to sacrifice other things to create harmony between them— precious things that you desired for so long.
If you want to enjoy freedom, all by living in this society chained by so many obstacles, convince your mind to go to war. Although many of us are already a war, only a few will admit it. And those who utter the truth are the most special amongst us. Even though they are the people we often laugh at, they find themselves in a relaxed state for speaking their minds. They are among the first ones to enjoy what freedom entails.
In fact, freedom comes into effect when people fight for it. It rewards those who fight to their last breath to uphold its dignity and integrity.
Also, a contradiction exists. But don’t let them bother your belief— don’t let them manipulate your thoughts, its formation process.
We must foster a mindset to welcome the freedom of expression, and freedom of thoughts. They facilitate social progress, and where everybody wants to move forward, you can’t afford to obstacle their way and get eyeballed for no reason. Remember, there is nothing worse than being a force of negativity, abandon it to let the ray of freedom and mental satisfaction enter your mind— slowly but evidently!
Spread positivity!
Peace!
