If we look at the world, at present half of the population are women. They are now not only handling the family but successfully doing jobs in different positions. They are working side by side with men in the development of a nation, building it, driving in a right way. They are also establishing their legacies in social welfares too. The well known poet of Bengal, Kazi Nazrul Islam once wrote, ❝In this beautiful world what are you witnessing, half are made by men and half by the women.❞ Women are now taking parts in different issues. Many countries have introduced many successful women. Mother Teresa, Florence Nightangle, Queen Laxmi Bai, Sarojni Naidu etc. are some of them.
Education for Woman:
I clearly remember, one of my teacher used a beautiful quote of Napoleon Bonaparte. ❝Give me an educated woman and I will give you an educated nation.❞ We can simply understand the line. It’s so epic and worthy. Education enlightens people’s darkness of ignorance and illiteracy. They become worthy after receiving proper education. Please read those lines. I used the word 'People' in spite of man or woman. Because for me, they both deserve to get educated and that's their holy right by birth. But it’s a matter of regret that most of the countries still think that it’s quite unnecessary to educate the females. This mentality should be stopped. Now what's the reason for this mentality?
Well, I blame both man & woman. Man are deprived by their manhood mentality and they always crosscheck any possibilities to dominate over the female. Woman are blamed for their lack of courage and use of correct words while they demand their rights. If I talk about this subcontinent, you can see that females in this subcontinent were dominated hugely in past. Raja Rammohan Ray, Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar, Begum Rokeya were some of the names who fought for woman rights and established their rightful place. Nowadays, women are getting advantages of their supreme sacrifices.
Women Empowerment:
Making a perfect workplace for woman is now a burning question. Specially for the developing and under developing countries. Because half of the population are female and they are also working for the country. I remember the woman summit held in Beijing where the tagline used like this one ❝See the world with the view of a Woman.❞
We have to visualise everything through their vision. We have seen the vision of man and now we have to do it vice versa. We all have to accept the fact that woman ensures the peace at home and decorate our house beautifully. Now we have to ensure that they can do the exact thing for our nation. Yes, they have the capabilities of doing so. All we need to create that environment. We have to spread positivity about woman empowerment. We have to change our attitude. We have to change the vision of our society. Only then we can assure our development.
Equal rights in Job section:
Well, it will be hard to believe that but in developed countries too, women are considered for the secondary posts. All higher post are reserved for male candidates. In spite of having equal qualifications or more, female candidates are often shown the door of exit. This is not equal rights or human justice. This is clear betrayal. Jobs must be provided by the authorities according to qualifications, not by the gender. Gender discrimination is the worst thing in human civilization. We must ensure that this type of irresponsible behaviour cannot spread it’s root in our nation as well as in this beautiful world.
Thank you.
