Utility NFTs on NEAR
NFT is A way to represent anything as a unique asset and manage its ownership.
An NFT assigns a use to the digital asset outside of owning a piece of artwork. A utility NFT can be where someone receives a physical piece of art that matches the NFT they purchased; it could be unique access to an event, exclusive in-person memberships, or future use in the digital world (think within a game). Projects that define themselves in the Utility range are their ultimate use. There are examples of utility where you buy an NFT and receive access to exclusive events .
Mintbase
They are not just another NFT marketplace, they are here to get you to build your own minter, market, and NFT redeeming systems. The future is niche markets, operated by you on sharded, decentralized, green POS chains (now on NEAR).
Mintbase is one such NFT platform that has caught my attention for building on the friendly NEAR protocol. Already on Ethereum, Mintbase utilized the NFTs on NEAR .
They have a strong belief that the future is about niche NFT utility markets, fired up by companies, entrepreneurs, and no-code users alike.
In October 2021 , They launched utility NFTs that can be redeemed for beers, wines, skateboards and dumplings at local restaurants throughout Lisbon .
