The house of zamindars Satendra Mohan Chowdhury and Gyanendra Mohan Chowdhury in Sherpur district headquarters is well known as Pone Ten Ani Jamidar Bari. Built in the style of Greek architecture, this house is different from other manor houses. Although many of the beauties of the zamindar's house have faded in the course of time, the beautifully designed pillars of the zamindar's house still carry on the tradition of the zamindari period.
