La Union has two disctrits. District I is the nothern part and District II was the southern part. I had already wrote an article about district I. If you are intersted, just tap my username. thank you in advance.
Let's start, i will show some areas that mostly visited here in district II first is:
🛑BAUANG: grapes and guava farm. no entrans fee if you buy some grapes same with the guava. you can also pick your own grapes here. (not for free). If you noticed i didn't include a picture of guava farm and im sorry for that, because i myself doesnt had a chance to visit those guava farms.
🛑Art gallery Called "CIANO UMOK". located also at BAUANG. this gallery is the old house of Mang Ciano. ciano umok is all known by their ice creamhalohalo.
trivia: In our native language (ilocano) "umok" meaning birds nest.
🛑 PUGO : Pugad resort, If you want adventure this place is highly recomended. they have zipline,paddleboat and sea scooter. They also have mini zoo.
Entrance P200 (adult) and P150 (Kids)
Tapuakan river, This is also located in PUGO, the cleanest inland River in the north Region I.
The exquisite river and pristine water flows from the towns streams amid a huge rockbeds It also sorrounded by forest and water fall.
Trivia: Tapuakan means a place where one can jump as high.
TUBAO: Sangbay falls, the clear and cold water from the forest. No entrace fee but there is a curfew 6 am-5 pm only.
BAGULIN: They have two footbridge. Longest hanging footbridge in LA UNION, the smallest measured 190 meters. i apologies for the second one because i dont know the measurement.
bagulin have more nice places to visit. i will write a solo article for this.
AGOO: eco park, one of my favorite place. this place is quiet peaceful. the view sea and the trees .
STO TOMAS: Actually there is no tourist spot in here, i just add this town because santo tomas is Dubbed as the tabo-an of the north, because of its priceless "danggit" (often associated of small malaga)
Some of the travellers stoped here just to by some dried fish and fish sauce.
ROSARIO: sunflower farm, the beauty of this flowers boost a good vibes. they have two kinds of sunflower but i dont know the names of this.
