Are you familiar with this kind of fruit??
This is commonly called Dragon fruit in English.
In Thailand, they call this fruit as "Kaew mangkom".
This also known as pitahaya or pitaya in native South America, but now also grown in Southeast Asia. particularly in Malaysia, Taiwan, and Vietnam. It usually grows in subtropical and tropical areas.
This exotic fruit is amazing because it contains nutritious and has health benefits, This fruit may sound weird but it really exists and has many benefits to offer than the other fruits.
It has a beautiful flower and it belongs to the genus Hylocereus cactus family, they come in three types. Inside it contains;
*fuchsia or magenta
*yellow
*white
And it dotted with tiny black seeds.
This pomegranate size fruit is quite vibrant with bright pink skin and large tipped scales that look spiny too. Over the shapes resembles a dragon hence.
It features a mouth-watering light sweet taste and refreshing. Slightly crunchy too, this fruit tastes fairly like a mix of pear or melon and a kiwi.
