Are you on a diet? I think this recipe is good for you.
This coleslaw salad is just one of my experiments, and it turns good. I also tried to put it on a bread as a spread, for me it was really good idea because it blends from the taste of the bread.
Here are the ingredients;
*1 bag of coleslaw mix ( 14 oz.)
*1/2 (half) of red bell pepper
*1/2 (half) of green bell pepper
*3/4 cup of mayonaise
*1/3 cup of sour cream
*1 can of black beans (13.75 oz. rinsed and drained)
*1 can of corn ( 13.75 oz. rinsed and drained also)
*1/3 cup of fresh cilantro
*1/4 cup of lime juice
*1 jalapeño
*1 pack of taco seasoning
I know what you are thinking this ingredients is hard to find, but you are wrong this is all available in the grocery stores.
Lets proceed for the procedure;
● In a medium size of bowl, whisk the mayonaise together with the sour cream, lime juice and taco seasoning, mix it well.
●Then put it on the fridge for about 10 to 15 minutes until its ready.
●In the other bowl combine all the other ingredients (diced bell pepper, corn, black beans, minced cilantro, coleslaw mix and jalapeño.
●Now toss with the taco seasoning mixture, until everything is thoroughly coated.
Note: Removed the the seeds and minced, same with the cilantro.
