This is a version of the authentic Pinoy food, Adobo.
Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork belly (cubed)
- 7 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 can sprite
- 4 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1 medium onion (minced)
- 5pcs dried bay leaves
- 5 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 ½ teaspoon whole pepper corn
- 1 cup water
Procedure
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sprite, and pork belly. Then marinate for 3-6hrs
- Drain marinade and set aside
- Heat cooking oil in a pan then sauté garlic until it become light brown
- Put the onion next then sauté
- Put the pork the cook until medium-cooked
- Add the marinade and water. Let it simmer
- When the pork is fully cooked, put the bay leaves and pepper corn. Simmer for a little while
