On 17 February this year Andy Weatherall died unexpectedly at the age of 56. This great British DJ has influenced the musical life of many people especially because he has created a new connection between rock and dance music. The best way to show this is with his remixes.  Therefore it is important to me to post my 3 favourite Weatherall mixes here. These tracks definitely have their place in music history and you will always enjoy these timeless beats.

Primal Scream - Loaded (Andrew Weatherall Mix)

Manic Street Preachers - Peeled Apples (Andrew Weatherall Mix)

My Bloody Valentine - Soon (Andrew Weatherall Mix)

If your not familiar with the work of Andrew Weatherall and just discovered him here, make sure that you also check out his projects "The Sabres of Paradise" and "Two Lone Swordsmen". It's definitely worth it.

The last EP of the late, great  Andrew Weatherall "Pamela #1" was released on April 10, 2020 on 12 inch vinyl only. Maybe you want to grab a copy here

The part people held in life matters, the role people play in life matters and the footprints people left behind tell a lot about the person. "RIP Andrew Weatherall"
