This is a sample lesson plan that we did as part of our course activity.
I. Title: Stress Management Program
II. Objectives:
· To list and describe a number of different techniques that the students can use to manage stress effectively
· To show the students how stress works and respond positively to stress management as it applies to their life and goals
· To identify the causes of unwanted stress and develop a balanced lifestyle in order to control stress in a long term.
· To accomplish several activities in utilizing effective relaxation and stress reduction techniques

IV. Introduction
Stress is part of life, we all experience it, some have more than others, some manage it differently. Too much stress can affect your mood, your relationships, and your school performance. That is why it is so important to know how to effectively manage stress. It is significant to help students identify signs of stress, how it affects them, and what they can do about it.
Stress is a condition or feeling experienced when a person perceives that demands exceed the personal and social resources of individual is able to mobilize. In this topic, we will talk more about on managing stress and reacting to stress. The more options you have for keeping stress under control, the better you will be able to cope with the stressors you experience throughout your daily life.
Stress management gives you a range of tools to reset your alarm system. It can help your mind and body adapt. Without it, your body might always be on high alert. Over time, chronic stress can lead to serious health problems. Stress damages your health, relationships or quality of life so practicing stress management techniques will be a great remedy.
V. Presentation
1. This program is to be addressed and instructed to the class officers in Senior High School (Grade 11-12) with at least 10 to 15 students.
2. In this lesson, discussion method with the aid of having activities subsequently, will be used to bring out the learners’ prior knowledge and experiences with stress.
3. The cause of stress and form of stress will be discussed and example scenarios or illustration will be given.
4. Introduce ways to manage stress
a. Relaxation Techniques

VI. Application
1. The students can use this as a point of reference for dealing with their own circumstances, as well as to serve a study guide to demonstrate mastery of stress management strategies.
2. A brief sharing of experiences related to stress management.
3. The students will participate in every activities corresponding to the topic.
4. Techniques and tips will be taught to the audiences.
5. Questions will be asked to the students regarding their understanding on the subject matter.
VII. Summary
1. Techniques in managing stress will be emphasized.
2. Discussing the vague points in the program.
3. Answering the students' questions if it is unclear.
VIII. Test
An individual or group test in the form of activity will be given to the students to determine if they learn something relevant from the topic and to help them apply this to their future stress day scenarios.

An assignment will be given to the Senior High School students to apply their knowledge in managing stress.
