Behind The Song "Ang Huling El Bimbo" by Eraserheads
Ang Huling El Bimbo is classified as a bluesy yet timeless soundtrack. It is one of the hit songs of the 90s most popular rock band Eraserheads which was composed by the band's vocalist, Ely Buendia, in a span of just 5 minutes including its melody.
Aside from its listenable music and a tragic yet hooking story about an innocent puppy love between two childhood friends that failed to develop as life led them apart - ouch.

And here comes the tragedy. After long years of no communication, he found out that the girl he likes, already has a child but her husband left her. She is living as a dishwasher and one night, she was ambushed by a car. All the dreams that the boy had, just shattered.
Aside from the story, this song also became remarkable for it took the lead guitarist (Marcus Adoro) almost 6 hours just to perfect the beautiful ending part of the song. Just wow right?
It also has a musical produced by Resorts World Manila and Full House Theater Company, written by Dingdong Novenario, and directed and choreographed by Dexter Santos.
