What do you think, how do you feel about arrogant people? Do they arouse respect in you? Or admiration? Or do you think they are truly superior humans? Or that they are one-of-a-kind?

Almost everyone who reads this will undoubtedly say no, I do not feel or think so. Then who is feeding these people's arrogance? There is always someone who has fallen under the spell of this arrogance, who sees the other person as a truly superior person, who makes an extraordinary effort and submission to show his obedience and loyalty to him, and who finds spiritual satisfaction by thinking that he is protected and loved by being stroked in return. they continue.

These poor people, who see others as inferior to themselves, who think that they are knowledgeable and competent in almost every subject, who believe that they are equipped with superior virtues, who cannot admit that they have made a mistake under any circumstance, who consider it a blessing to show interest and closeness to others, and who are not made of Indian fabric; In fact, they are fake VIPs who are trying to overcome their fear of worthlessness with their arrogance.

Many people, for any number of different reasons, may actually deserve the very important person (VIP) designation, related to their field of activity. But these, as human beings (servants), are not more important or more valuable than anyone else. Some superior abilities, knowledge or some features that will make a difference in certain subjects compared to others may constitute the content of their definition of being a more important and special person in the social arena.

However, a significant number of people who have these characteristics that make a real difference do not see these characteristics as absolute superiority, but do not turn this into attitudes such as dominance over others, looking down on them, expecting them to be submissive to themselves, constantly waiting for privileged treatment and special attention, and knowing themselves. they are humble people.

These modest people see and act as human equals to the people they are dealing with, regardless of their social, economic, professional or material deficiencies or weaknesses. They do not despise people who are inferior to them by some worldly criteria. They do not exclude those who see what they know as the absolute truth and think differently, they show respect. Thus, they are people who are truly respected and loved. People often experience surprise and distrust in the face of their modesty.

Because they overestimated these people for reasons such as their education, social and economic level, being famous or popular, and they felt that they were not equal to themselves. Some may try to abuse this humility while trying to compensate for their own sense of oppression. When these behaviors, which we will define as ignorance, are based on the red lines of the person who shows humility, tolerance may disappear and of course may lead to some unpleasant consequences. Of course, it is useful to be moderate while being humble towards such people. Seeing one's own shortcomings and flaws is also a matter of human development, and when some people lack this, they may take advantage of these attitudes of those who show a little humility and lose the ball of the scale with the taste of seeing themselves as equal with them.

Therefore, the perception of seeing oneself as more important and superior than others is actually not a situation that we consider normal in terms of personality psychology. It even overlaps with narcissistic personality disorder, which is a personality disorder in many ways. However, arrogant people do not have much difficulty in finding a subject who believes in them somehow. Maybe looking inaccessible, unreachable and superior creates a kind of attraction and attracts some people, they feel more valuable in the eyes of that arrogant person. Of course, this is not a very healthy situation in terms of psychology, but who cares, there is a kind of contentedness that gives satisfaction.

To sum up, most philosophical approaches, moral teachings, religions, and science all say that arrogance is a bad thing, they advise modesty and humility, but they still cannot deter these arrogant people from their delusions. Whatever it is..
