“Virtues reflect the character and integrity of Christians!
We are created in the image and likeness of God, which is patterned by us Christians to live a virtuous life. I do believe that a virtue is something that allows an individual not only to perform good acts, but to give the best out of himself which makes an individual to live a moral life through practicing of both cardinal and theological virtues. Hence, I agree with the statement above as human virtues guide our conduct which leads us towards freedom with self-control, self-responsibility, and self-accountability. This mold our character, and integrity as a Christian. Through developing our virtues, it leads us to achieve Christian maturity, and to live an authentic life.
“Having virtue is an indication of Christian maturity.”
The growth in virtue is an important goal for every Christian, for the virtues play a valuable role in living a Christian moral life. A virtue is a habitual and firm disposition to do the good which allows an individual to perform good acts, but to give the best of himself. To live a virtuous life, is the same as to live a moral life which leads to Christian maturity. For example, a person always participates to the different religious activities and attending mass every Sunday which made them their habit that means they are developing their Christian maturity.
