Personally Owned Sin, Not Hereditary
In political contestation, there is usually a derivative of political science. From father to son. Or from grandfather to grandson. And so on. Political dynasty is not always negative. In fact, political dynasties are a way of keeping political thought pure. In another sense, the view of political regeneration based on genealogical ties has existed since ancient times.
We can see examples of political dynasties from various points of view. For example, in traditional leadership, tribal leaders usually pass their leadership to their children or nephews. It's legal. As long as the leader and prospective leader have a strict educational stage. All stages of leadership are legal.
Every politician has his own knowledge, methods, and actions. No one bears the virtues and vices of politicians but himself. For example, in the colossal period, where the descendants of the king were well prepared. The princes studied the science of war, social, economics, political policy, dialogue, debate, discussion, to technical matters to become leaders.
The education and training of prospective rulers is carried out with the intention of protecting future leaders from things that can damage and destroy the foundation of the country.
In the early days of the royal system, the education of the princes was like the education of all departments and faculties. In addition to understanding some science. The prince of the past understood little things from many sciences to strengthen skills and sharpen understanding. Although in practice, the rulers have advisors to guard each policy.
Private property
However, the personal merits and demerits of the leader are private property. There is no evidence that descendants will bear the rewards and sins of their ancestors. Unless it's a piece of people's views regarding the weight, weight, seeds of a person. There is no guarantee that good birth is good, and vice versa.
For example, a descendant of a religious expert does not necessarily produce a child who is a religious expert. A corrupt person does not promise to have a corrupt child either. Even in religious teachings, rewards and sins are their own. Even if someone dies. His sins are not passed on to his children and grandchildren. All things are borne by each.
There is a lot of debate in the public sphere regarding this political regeneration. A human rights violator will not pass the sin on to his child or nephew. However, selling negative campaigns does have an acute buyer in this country. Any issues that bring down a potential leader will be more interesting than the achievements of descendants of political dynasties.
The number one leader in the world of all time, the Messenger of Allah said as for him, you really do not bear the punishment for his sin and your sin does not make him bear the punishment. In addition, the argument of this hadith also comes from the holy verse that "And someone who sins will not bear the sins of others as contained in Al-Isra verse 15 and An-An'am verse 164.
So, if the political campaign involves linking the sins of the ancestors to one's descendants. It could be, indeed the people who spread the issue and those who believe are part of the people who do not listen to the commands of God and His Messenger. This affirmation of personal sin is explained in detail in Surah Al-Fatir verse 18:
And the sinner will not bear the sins of others. And if a person whose sins are heavy calls (others) to carry his sins, nothing will be carried for him even though (who he calls) his relatives. Verily, you can warn only those who fear the punishment of their Lord (even if) they do not see Him and they establish prayer. And whoever purifies himself, indeed he purifies himself for his own good. And to Allah will return (you).
Political Ethics
In the world of politics other than the science of debating and convincing others. Politicians are also educated with strict ethics. An unwritten teaching. But it is believed and becomes the basis for a country as strong as America to last a long time. Political ethics is the guardian of the sustainability of a country. If you don't believe me, read the popular book, How Democracy Die?
At one time in Greece, political ethics became the basic education for aspiring city politicians who represented the citizens of the city. A politician will not attack his opponent under the pretext of hereditary sin. Differences in the interpretation of political policies are part of the moral level of politicians.
Political ethics is shown in the form of political politeness and politeness. A person may have blue blood. But not necessarily ethical politically. Likewise, a suburban and poor citizen does not guarantee that he is a bad politician. Many examples of national leaders are born from small, poor, and even isolated groups of people.
