Every day there is an earthquake, at least once a day. This earthquake is like accompanying fear in the human soul.

Although not as strong as the first earthquake, the aftershocks made the night more terrifying than the previous nights.

Pasaman Regency and West Pasaman Regency, which were victims of the earthquake, still turned on emergency sirens.

Friday afternoon was the first day of the earthquake in Pasaman Regency and West Pasaman Regency.

On that Friday, the earthquake occurred four times. Friday morning, afternoon, evening and night.

After the earthquake, the natural disaster that followed was a landslide. The soil from the mountain flowed like a flood destroying anything the landslide crossed.

According to the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency,

the strength of the earthquake was 5.2 on Friday morning,

then a 6.1 magnitude earthquake on Friday afternoon,

then a 5.0 magnitude earthquake on Friday afternoon

and finally a 5.1 magnitude earthquake on Friday night.

From Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, and today, people say there are still aftershocks. I don't understand why the earthquake keeps coming every day.

The National Disaster Management Agency is an institution that works to cope with the impact of disasters and has been working more diligently every day.

The National Disaster Management Agency said that around 8,000 residents in West Pasaman were displaced at 35 points, while as many as 6,785 residents took refuge in Pasaman Regency.

After the earthquake came and brought wounds to their memories. The disaster from the landslide added to the sadness. Heavy rains have occurred for the past few days and caused heavy flooding.

Sadness is a song that accompanies every victim and refugee who doesn't know when it's time to feel safe.

Everyone is still afraid to return to the collapsed house. Everyone is looking for family or contacting friends who are both displaced.

The National Disaster Management Agency said there were four damaged bridges that closed transportation access, such as the bridge of Kalimanang, the bridge of Batang Tapa Gadang, the bridge of Batang Aia Cangkuak, and the Bridge of Durian Jambak.

In addition, students cannot receive knowledge from teachers at school. Because their schools were damaged, 37 schools were heavily damaged and 49 schools were slightly damaged in Pasaman and West Pasaman districts.

Government agencies, private sector, and community organizations are still raising funds to help victims of the earthquake. Everyone's support is very beneficial for the refugees.

Members of the legislature and several political parties helped the refugees. During this emergency response period, refugees are still living in refugee camps.

From information that comes from our organization. My junior in the organization arrived at the evacuation site and saw how the earthquake damaged two districts in West Sumatra. My Junior and his team came to distribute the aid they brought for the refugees.
