The" Largest bottle in the world " is located in Vila Nova de Gaia and claims to be a national monument dedicated to wine and grapes. On the evening of may 31, 2014, it was opened to the public.

The "Bottle" lying on the grass serves as a tasting room for 60 people at a time. The walls are decorated with photos of the embankments of the river Douro from the Port and its satellite city of Vila Nova de Gaia, so that the tourist gets the impression of traveling along the river on an old ship "Rabelo", on which barrels of port were delivered along the river to ripen in the wine cellars.
