The number of bitcoin ATMs in the world has exceeded 10,000 units

The total number of bitcoin ATMs has reached 10,018 installed in 71 countries, according to Coin ATM Radar.

Norwegian financial blog AksjeBloggen has noted the explosive growth of the ATM fleet this year. At the beginning of September, there were 67% more of them than a year earlier. From January to September 2020 alone, providers installed 3,885 new crypto ATMs.
The vast majority of devices operate in North America. Almost 79% of the total bitcoin ATM or 7889 units are installed in the United States. Canada (874) and Great Britain (280) follow by a wide margin.
In the US, the number of BTC ATMs has grown by 127% since last September, AksjeBloggen noted.
The leading device manufacturers are Genesis Coin and General Bytes, accounting for 3542 and 2970 installed crypto ATMs, respectively.
