The Bank for International Settlements (BIS) has posted a vacancy for a technical expert on blockchain technologies. He will be developing the company's digital asset initiative, the description says.
BIS will consider as candidates software engineers and solution architects with knowledge of Python, Java, C ++, Scala, Go, Solidity or PHP. BIS calls experience in the field of distributed ledger technology, cryptography and cybersecurity an important condition.
The technical expert will work on projects to develop central bank digital currencies (CBDCs), tokenized securities and token-based payment systems.
The contract is for three years and provides for work at the BIS Innovation Center in Hong Kong or Switzerland.
