Investors demand the grave of CEO who carried the password of the Crypto Currency Exchange
The sudden death of Gerald Cotton, the 30-year-old CEO of Canada's Corporate Currency Exchange, has created trouble for many investors. The management of the Corporate Currency Exchange says the deceased CEO has taken a $163 million password in BitCoin with him in the grave. Investors of the cupto currency Quad RigaCX now want to identify the CEO by taking the grave and finding out the cause of his death.
In January 2019, Quad RigaCX announced that their founder and CEO had died a month ago due to Crohn's disease, and that the password for the 180 million Canadian dollars, or $137 million, was the only one he remembered.
The Quadriga CX was subsequently asked to cease its operation and apply for creditors protection in the Nova Scotia Supreme Court.
The sudden death of the CEO has led to the loss of 76,000 people from their own capital. Investors want to be convinced that they are really dead by removing Gerald's grave.
Consumer lawyer have made this unusual request because of suspicion of Gerald's death and suspicious behavior of Quad Rica CX.
Consumers believe that Gerald has fled with people's crypto currency and is pretending to die to escape.
The consumer advocate says that the burial should be done before the spring of 2020 before Gerald's body is buried. Gerald's widow says she is sad to hear about her husband's grave. They say that their husband's death should not be doubted.
