New students of the first batch of special classes for professional journalists who fight for Da'wah Science College Mohammad Natsir attended the Student Ta'aruf Period (Mastama) on Wednesday (24/2/21) at the Menara Da'wah Building, Putra Campus, Salemba, Central Jakarta.
This Mastama, which was attended by 7 new students, was an orientation period for the introduction of campus profiles and the inheritance of the noble values of da'wah before starting the lecture period.
Deputy Chairman of the Indonesian Islamic Da'wah Council, Ustadz Dr. Imam, Zamroji, MA said that the first generation in a da'wah struggle was always interesting and unique. Dr. Imam said that in the past he was also in the early generation at the Islamic Education Institute, as the forerunner to the establishment of STID Mohammad Natsir. Of course, there were a lot of struggles faced, especially choosing to study in a department that was not very popular at that time.
Then, he correlated with the struggle of the 6 companions of the Prophet who took allegiance at the initial inception of the initiation, who later became the initiator of da'wah. In addition, he also revealed the big secret of the consistency of Mohammad Natsir's Da'wah, as well as his reasons for refusing a prestigious scholarship to study in the Netherlands, and choosing to study religion. This is what will become a fortress for the da'i when they fall and are attacked by Al Wahn (love of the world), "he said.
Chairman of STID Mohammad Natsir, Ustadz Dr. Dwi Budiman Assiroji, M.Pd.I said that whatever the study program and its concentration, the aim of the cadre in STID Mohammad Natsir was to become a Da'i. He also explained the stages of cadres that will be taken by students for the special class of professional journalist fighters on this campus.
