February 14th is celebrated as Valentine's Day (V-day), or Valentine's Day. A day when people flock to express their affection for their loved ones. Usually, the V-day phenomenon is celebrated by young people who are romantically drunk. A couple who are not actually halal.
Chocolate and flowers are symbols of expressing love. Not a few Muslim women are willing to pawn their virginity as proof of love. Astaghfirullah. As a result, V-day, which he said was a day of love, was just nonsense. Lie. In fact, V-day becomes an arena for mass immorality, the desecration of holy love.
V-day is not an Islamic culture, it comes from the West which is full of freedom (liberal). It is not surprising that love is often expressed freely without rules so that humans are actually inferior to animals.
In fact, Islam is a view of life that is full of grace. Islam comes from ar-Rahman ar-Rahim. In terms of love and compassion, Islam views it as nature, holy. An instinct that naturally exists in every human being. Love is the potential of life so that humans make it a means of worship towards Jannah. Even a Muslim is considered imperfect in faith if he is not compassionate. Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu 'Alayhi Wa Sallam narrated by Bukhari and Muslim, said, "One of you does not believe so that he loves for his brother as he loves himself".
To maintain its chastity to remember humans who have lust, as well as to glorify humans, Islam regulates its distribution. The rules originating from ar-Rahman and ar-Rahim.
Love to Allah SWT and His Messenger. This is the highest love. The form of love for Allah and His Messenger is to carry out the orders and stay away from the prohibitions. Don't shock Him. To make the pleasure of Allah as the reason behind love and hate for creatures.
"And among men, there are those who worship a match other than Allah; they love him as they love Allah. As for those who believe they love Allah very much. " (Surah al-Baqarah: 165)
Love to the opposite sex is channeled through marriage, if not able to fast. There is no such thing as dating or engaged in Islam. Allah has forbidden all activities that are close to adultery.
"And Do Not Approach Adultery; Indeed, adultery is a heinous act. and a bad way. " (Surah Al-Isra [17]: 32).
Love to parents by being devoted to both. Pray for both of them. Liven up his work. Good blessings. Especially for mothers whose principality is three times greater than that of fathers. However, the obedience referred to must be in accordance with the guidance of the Koran and as-Sunnah.
And your Lord has commanded you not to worship other than Him and to do good to mother and father. If one of the two or both come to an advanced age in your care, then you may not say to both of them the word "ah" and do not shout at both, and say to both of them a good word. (al-Isra: 32)
Love the earth by caring for it, maintaining balance and sustainability. How sad it is if the West, which is the origin of V-day, is the biggest contributor to global warming. Even though the earth is a mandate from Allah who has the right to be loved.
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said, "Whoever does not love who (who is) on earth does not love who (who is) in the sky". (History of Ath Thabari, and confirmed by Al Hafidz As Suyuthi)
Love for the country by maintaining unity, not allowing infidels to control the natural resources, rejecting various cultures and kufr thoughts from entering the country and the peak of this love is to make the country endowed by Allah with an attitude of piety, namely applying sharia as kaffah in everyday life.
"If the inhabitants of these countries were faithful and devoted, surely We would bestow upon them the blessings of heaven and earth, but they denied (Our verses), then We tortured them for their deeds." (QS: Al-A'raf [7]: 96).
That is Islam, a religion of compassion. All of this is done in obedience to Allah. That is, without knowing the moment. Unlimited days. Because the purpose of life for a Muslim is to worship, obeying Allah. As long as he is alive, as long as that is the duty of affection for him. Even a Muslim is considered imperfect in faith if he is not compassionate.
