Much has been written and drawn about happiness. Articles on the search for happiness, articles on whether happiness is something that can be found by searching for it, articles on whether it is necessary to be happy or not... When scanning articles on happiness, the writings of those dealing with psychology and psychiatry are undoubtedly much more prominent. Especially the thoughts of those who have made a name for themselves worldwide are of great importance in terms of shedding light on the functioning of our brain. As such, we wanted to talk about the arguments of the famous psychoanalyst Carl Jung, who is known as Freud's student but does not share the same ideas with him in all his theories. According to Carl Jung, there are 5 main factors that make people happy.

The concept of healthy living is very popular especially in recent years. Vegan living, avoiding sugar, reducing lactose or gluten, the need for regular exercise, organic farming, free-range chickens and many other topics are always on our agenda. But did you realize that all of these are recommendations to improve physical health? Only the endorphin-boosting effects of exercise on happiness and peace of mind are rarely mentioned.

He argues that thinking about our own comfort and peace of mind is effective in achieving happiness. If there are situations, jobs, people that bother you from the inside, that burden you, take a look at them from this perspective. Just as our personal freedom can last up to the point where we violate the freedom of others, we should also be a little selfish about ourselves and our desires for the sake of happiness.

As a social being, people are happier when they have positive relationships with others, based on mutual exchange and support, both in their personal and professional lives. We don't have to agree with everyone all the time and we don't have to agree with them on everything, but with a little sacrifice and empathy, we should be able to find the middle ground. According to Carl Jung, people who spend their lives alone, pushing everyone away, don't seem to be very happy. The ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus reached a similar conclusion in his search for happiness, arguing that a productive crowd makes you happy.

As life goes by so fast, we are so unaware of the beauty we are missing... Carl Jung's suggestion for reducing our stress levels and being happy is to stop and look inside ourselves. "Only when we are able to look into our heart can our dreams of the outside world come true," Jung says, adding that seeing beauty is all about slowing down.

Not all of us are happy with what we do. Although we believe that you should do what you love, the world we live in and the economic conditions we have may prevent us from doing what we love to make money. However, it is possible to find something to give meaning to our lives outside of work. If you want to write, to spread your ideas to the world, try it. Do you think that lending a helping hand to people will make you feel relaxed and happy? Volunteer for a non-governmental organization. The fundamental purpose of humanity is to shine a light of meaning in the darkness of existence full of unknowns. In other words, to see that by doing something meaningful, we are making a contribution to life, the world and humanity.

I feel that all my thoughts are related to God, directed towards him, as the planets revolve around the Sun. To oppose this attraction would be the greatest sin. Even though he was a scientist, he believed that a strong belief in God would give meaning to life. Those who believe in an afterlife live their lives more productively because of a sense of immortality.
