Ethermail IO Webmail 3 provider personal experience

EtherMail IO is a web 3 email provider. This is my personal experience.

1 - Needs a Trust Wallet or Metamask wallet and requires 1 transaction on ethereum:

Sometimes it is hard to find an exchanger to ethereum or needs to send a lot of money for single ethereum transaction so you need for example to fund your Uphold wallet even with 2 $ litecoin or bitcoin cash and process all money to your ethereum wallet. For information, you could just pay a fee of ethereum for hole money processed one time, after that you could create your account and send and receive emails.

2 - Metamask connect is sometimes easier than TrustWallet:

For this purpose it is possible to import your TrustWallet seed phrase to Metamask then login process will be easier. It is the same case if you do not have Metamask but have Opera Wallet for mobile or PC and Brave Browser wallet or Exodus extension if you are using Cryptotab or another browser because this doesn't work well with Brave Browser. Or create new one if you do not have any wallet with TrustWallet or Exodus, means it needs just to sign in protocol of authentification.

3 - Good referral program to get 250 EMC per verified referred person that use the webmail.

Drawbacks:

The email seems for some email providers as scam email and labelled for spam because it starts with your ethereum mail plus at ethermail io so sometimes having an email linked to email provider is better from getting this email, but it is good way to be involved in web3 technology and terminology.
