Previously, I wrote about how I managed to deactivate my Facebook account so I can detoxify on social media, and I can say that it’s really quite life changing for me, because my mental health became quite stable since I did that.
And so right now, I’ve been thinking, what if we can talk to them and tell them our thoughts and suggestions so they can hear us out. And if that happens, here is my “Letter To Interactive Technology”.

Dear, Tiktok
Hi there Tiktok, I know you’re the newest to the internet world, but look at you, you’re toxicity are already spreading like a virus. Most of your trending content are a bunch of erotic ones, like those teens who are dancing to slutty music. A lot of kids are into your platform, and their parents aren’t monitoring all of them as they should, if only you could block those types of content, and instead put those educational one into the trending page. That would be better, so this generation will learn things that’s needed, than those that aren’t.
Dear, Twitter
Hey, blue bird. What’s up with you? I remember back in my college days, you’re one of the most peaceful social media out there. We can tweet whatever we wanted without the fear of the judgement from the world, or getting attack by trolls. But now, things pretty much changed. You are now full of political content. Supporters of different politicians are flocking into your platform and make you their own war zone. And that’s not just it, you’re full of cancel culture now, spreading like a wildfire. But you know what, you should have done better. You should have been stayed as peaceful as you are before, that’s more fun than now for sure.
Dear, YouTube
Hello to you, best earning site. You’ve helped a lot of people achieved their dreams just by doing what they love through vlogging, and that’s so nice of you. Although trolls are also flocking into your comment section, but that’s something that’s really hard to avoid on any social sites. And although Tiktok is kinda stealing the limelight from you, you’re still one of those few social site who managed to stay peaceful and helpful as you are, so thank you.
Dear, Facebook
What’s going on, tech giant? You’ve been on the internet world for decades, and you changed quite a lot. The platform that once peaceful and fun became the most toxic one. But you could have been better. You could have stayed as how you used to be, less toxic and user friendly. But look at you right now, you’ve been trying to imitate a lot of social media just to improve yourself, but it isn’t for the good, it became worse. Your metaverse idea is quite promising, but it’s as if you’re fully allowing the technology to swallowed us whole. That isn’t a user friendly anymore.
Dear, Instagram
The last but not the least, how you doin’ IG? Since you’re now a part of Facebook company, things aren’t the same anymore. Just like your partner, you’re trying to imitate a lot of other social media as well. What happened to that site where photography skills is the only thing we needed? Right now, you’re full of fake influencers, who influence nothing but to live a luxurious life we’re most people can never be experience in reality. And you’re teaching this generation that likes on social media are a form of validation. That’s saddening. Something that makes other people feels like they are worth of nothing.
P.S.
I know these letters wouldn’t been able to reach any of you, but one day, when it does, I hope you guys will changed for the better that time.
What’s up with you today? I just finished doing the laundry, and I’m resting right now. Bubba left her long sleeve her at home, and it made me happy somehow. I hugged it and it’s still smells like her. I’m missing her already.
Anyways, keep safe you guys. Till our next nonsensical read.
Adiós!
This one's worth the read. You did great bub! And maybe that's her favorite longsleeves too so take care of it. Hihi. 🥰
