“Yoga is a path that leads us to freedom”

Yoga is really undervalued, it is very subjective but obviously it is because people have wrong views of what this branch of life really is, many think that it is a religion, that it is a doctrine when it really is an ancient practice that has as its objective connect our body with our mind, to expand our awareness of the world, for this it uses physical postures that involve breathing and meditation that have great benefits for us such as improving health in general, such as reducing stress, helping us sleep better, helping us with digestion, it also helps to increase confidence in us among many other benefits, currently where its origin lies, it is really widely practiced for Hinduism, it is one of its main doctrines, it is said that one of the greatest exponents of this great tool was Pantajali, as he is believed to have brought new, interesting and irreverent perspectives on yoga through his p words, actions and writings especially it is said that he was the writer of Yoga Sutra a book that thoroughly extracts what yoga is.

Obviously everything depends on the person, many are limited to knowing and rethinking aspects of their lives because they simply decide to continue trapped in the stigmas of society, they have not yet understood, that we come to create our own reference, that is why they label things without before learning more about what it is about and unfortunately yoga is a stigmatized practice, the objective and the benefits that it gives us go beyond the physical, above all it gives us new schemes of the world, it broadens our horizon about things, makes us more respectful beings, especially understanding the duality of life, of people and of things in general, because the objective of this is to unify our entire being into one, make us aware of absolutely everything and in that process we become kind beings, understanding beings, beings who accept that they are not perfect, yoga helps us to recognize each one of the aspects of our life to work on it. them, to work on modifying them to work on consciousness.

Now yoga came into my life at a difficult time, it was a total escape, it was a time when the internet was not booming so therefore I knew very little about this philosophy, it was quite an impact, because like everyone I had false conceptions especially that it was a religion but little by little I joined a group and after that I began my training as a teacher of this subject, I entered a new world, a world where I learned more about myself, I learned that spirituality is not linked to religions but what you carry inside, you feel it, you experience it and you create it with yourself, with your way of seeing life and with the consciousness that you acquire, by performing the various postures it makes us more flexible people, it prepares us in some way another way our body is to say, we learn to have control of it, especially to control pain in certain aspects, yoga injects us with discipline, makes us more constant, more cyclical people, people who never to desist, they always insist.

It is worth mentioning that there are many types of yoga, but basically the original or the most common is the one I mentioned above, that is, the Pantajali propulsion in the so-called Sutra, where, as I pointed out, it refers to and has the philosophy of purification of time through exercises. , also another that stands out is Bhakti Yoga, which basically worships God, yoga as we can see is not only a vision, in yoga there are many visions and doctrines, another great myth is about food, although it is true that it is part of lifestyle, we must not introduce it abruptly into our lives, we must make it a slow process but in the end it will only generate well-being, it also refers to food as an important issue because it is one of the commandments in Sanskrit, that is, one that exposes that it is not necessary to harm living beings, what in this language is known as Ahimsa, in yoga we also find karma, especially the law that states that each action obviously has a reaction, yoga is to create a healthy relationship with you, in addition to seeking that your physical body is in shape, obviously your soul and your mind as well.

Unfortunately, for personal reasons, I was two months away from finishing my Yoga degree, but fortunately I learned a little more about another culture, I learned about aspects that many believe are limiting and I discovered that there is freedom in them, I am still practicing it today, because it is evident that the stress is something that we adults must learn to deal with, therefore in yoga I had an escape route, which helps me to master the balance of this in my life, in addition to giving me determination and discipline, because it is always better to acquire the habit of discipline because motivation can come and go but discipline is something permanent that urges us to continue and never give up, another interesting aspect is that yoga is inclusive and does not discriminate, yoga is a practice in which we can all perform, a practice that drives us to improve therefore it does not matter if you are tall, short, skinny, fat, young or adult we can all include this habit so determined nt.

Thank you for reading!
