I can see and feel the morning sunshine in our area. Part of the mountains we're covered by fogs. Still the weather is cool and unpredictable. Spotted these red fire ants colonies in our lime tree making nests. This is macrophotography, You have to be careful when capturing these, don't ever touching the leaves or else you might ended full of bites. Maybe their queen it's inside the nest. Yes they have queen and can live up to 7 or more years while the ants workers up to weeks only. My father instructed us before not to disturb them since they're not pestering our lime tree and the fruits as well. Their common enemies of these ants are the butterflies and jumping spiders.
