We went out to explore something new. Thinking where we will go until we ended up here near a mall. It's like a mini park and an event centre. The place is cool and not crowded. We just strolled around and ordered foods on the stalls selling Korean and Japanese cuisine. A blessed sunny Wednesday and today it's the start of lenten season.
Chicken Adobo my version. A popular dish in our country by marinating the chicken slices in a sauce made up in white vinegar or lime juice, soy sauce and other ingredients. I always add a little brown sugar in this dish. I simmered the chicken in the sauce making it tender and flavourful. It's up to you if you want to add apices.
It's a sunny Thursday morning just like the orange Cosmos flower. I can feel the summer already. The moth really attracted to the bloom. The beauty of nature speak by itself. Surely if there's a flowers around the butterflies and moths will follow next.
Yesterday I attended the Ash Wednesday mass. After the mass, there's a lot of vendors outside the church selling varieties of rice cakes. So i decided to buy these, a glutinous rice wrapped in young coconut leaves and soaked several hours before putting a portion of lye water. When eating you should mix or sprinkled the brown sugar and grated coconut meat.
Craving this recipe, beef bones and tomato stew with bok choy. Surely you will keep warm during rainy season or if the weather is cool. Cooked the beef in a pressure cooker to make it sure the meat is tender. I seasoned with fish sauce to add flavour and more tomatoes is better.
Any blooms have been our faithful flowers for centuries. Been using them as part of our great moments for ages now. Like help us to say goodbye to our loved ones who were leaving and also to welcome to those who coming back. The colour purple is elegant and have class. Without flowers our lives wouldn't be colourful. Only purple in the garden and i can say ....simply beautiful.
I discovered a new recipe, and it was delectable. This spicy chicken curry in coconut milk with seaweeds. Don't forget to put laurel leaves, to enhance the taste.
