More pics this time showing the night life of Sabang Island. If we aren't drinking at the beach house that we rented or at the bar that my previous boss owns, we would be walking around the island and checking out what it has to offer. The island caters mostly to tourists so it has its share of bars - from the usual bar that serves the best beers from around the world , to the chill out bar that has an acoustic guitar player/singer performing, to actual girlie bars that offer adult entertainment. From the photos, guess who is that bald headed guy walking around the beach checking out the photos that he got on his cam? 24-hour sports bars would have the games that they will be showing in their cable TVs. Very popular in the island are football/soccer games. Bars would also have their menu and the current peso-dollar exchange rate. Bars are usually one-stop shops in the island as well. It is common to see locals selling all sorts of merchandise in the night market. Of course, we act like locals so we don't buy from them. Instead we go to the market, a 30-minute drive and buy the stuff there. More affordable and more choices. Plus, we can haggle. The structure in the middle of the water is actually a floating bar. It was good for a visit or two but after that, the novelty of drinking in the middle of the water wears off. Plus, the drinks, food, and services in the bar are expensive. Believe it or not, one of my friends, insisted that we post our OOTD for the trip going to the beach. She wanted it 'documented'. I played along and got mad props for my 'lifeguard' shirt.
