Don't let anything make a discord in you
We all strive for a pleasant and harmonious life - positive emotions, inner satisfaction, easy relationships.
But sometimes we experience discord in our relationships with people - in the family, at work, in society. And it upsets and grieves us. After all, human is a social creature, and it is very important for him to maintain good relationships with other people.
But the hardest and most dangerous - it is a discord with himself.
All of us are characterized by doubt, hesitation, and uncertainty, especially when we are going through difficult situations in life.
Under the influence of changing external circumstances or the need to make hard choices, we lose peace and quiet in our souls. Doubts and contradictions within our own consciousness "tear" us apart, which is why it is so difficult for us to realize and even more difficult to choose among sometimes contradictory desires and decisions.
And we are faced with difficult choices, for each option a different part of our "I" desperately fights for. A "I" that is constantly changing, always in flux.
In this difficult time we may forget all our impressive baggage of knowledge and experience, and remain tense, anxious, fearful and depressed.
Why are choices so difficult?
Because even though there are many different decision-making techniques, any choice involves taking personal responsibility for the decision or action chosen. And it causes internal discomfort because of doubt and fear for the consequences of making the wrong choice.
And if there is no one to help and stop this struggle, you can drive yourself to nervous exhaustion and mental disorders.
But if we share this responsibility with someone incommensurably more knowledgeable and understanding, someone who never changes, and we will trust in Almighty God, we can much more easily and calmly make decisions and restore peace to our minds and hearts.
After all, God is always with us and in us, knows and understands us better than we do, and is ready to support us in every situation. God has the power to guide your decision in the right and best way for you.
This is not the privilege of a select few; it applies to anyone who believes in it.
Some people say, "It is better to make a wrong decision than to suffer through the unknown". But, I think, it's better to make a decision without suffering, and be sure it's the right one. "And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose"(Rom.8:28).
