This year that has been so atypical for the whole world, due to the appearance of this fateful virus named covid-19, which caused the world to almost completely paralyze.
At the moment we are not so safe, a new strain has appeared that they say is more dangerous and the authorities are trying to control the situation.
Now in my family we are all scattered around the world and those of us who remained in Venezuela could not meet again, we are all at home taking care of each other because the people here, for the most part, are not complying with biosecurity protocols.
The closest neighbors and my family made a contribution to make a small Christmas dinner, especially for the children, to have a nice time and without the fear that someone could infect us.
We serve a very typical meal from my country Venezuela, which we call "HALLACA" is a kind of precooked cornmeal tamale, stuffed with pig meat and wrapped in banana leaves. We also made Chicken Salad, Egg Bread and the respective drinks. For dessert we made a Christmas Log, which was very tasty.
We spent a quiet and pleasant time in an almost family union, we talked, laughed, danced, and most importantly, we made the children have a fun time, especially the excitement of receiving the Christmas gift, or as we traditionally say in Venezuela "The gift of the child Jesus".
With this I say goodbye, but not before wishing you have had a Merry Christmas, that the child God brings you a lot of health, which is the most important and valuable thing we can have at this time, and that the goals that are set for the new year , which is to arrive in the next few days, are fulfilled.
