One thing we must all understand is that cryptocurrency in Africa still far to be used and in preponderant countries who have few knowledge about it are just using it as an escape to many problems facing on the continent. Many of this youngs living and betting in cryptocurrency in the continent aren't learning more to take advantages to this ecosystem, they just hunting for a way out to poverty, which some times lead them to get scammed because they don't have the right preparation about the field.

For example it's common in many Africans countries people thinking that cryptocurrency equal a gambling, where you put money and get more money from it, like it's a way to invest to get more from it, which isn't total lie but they aren't aware that this market is too volatile that can end up all their savings in just a glimpse.

Of course they're countries such Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Zimbabwe that have strong knowledge in cryptocurrency but the problem also in this societies exist, they just in majority knows only one cryptocurrency: Bitcoin (BTC). Most of this countries are Maximalists and believe that only Bitcoin (BTC) is the one to put they money and efforts into it.

There are blockchain projects who a trying to introduce more coins on this societies but the acceptance still a mirage, efforts are being made but still a lot to do in the terrain about more knowledge in other coins that are part of the decentralized world.

It's common to see young people in Africa deal and exchange just Bitcoin (BTC) and searching more about this asset on internet, to find more business to invest in, but they don't actual have a clear notion about the ecosystem surrounding this asset:

  • Most aren't even interested in cryptocurrency, but in are way to get out from society problems, unemployment and social exclusion

  • For every person looking for a cryptocurrency business online just focus on Bitcoin (BTC) because they don't understand how much money are being lost using this asset just in transactions fees.

  • Many of this Africans are not storing money in Crypto just using it to collect some wealth to be able to fulfill they desire and pay some bills.

It's necessary to teach firstly about Cryptocurrency on this base people (majority young's that are looking to learn and grow they knowledge about) then introduce them more assets that are different of Bitcoin (BTC), it's in my opinion teach about Bitcoin Cash than other coins more because Bitcoin Cash is a updated version of Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Cash is more favorable that the "mother coin" with low fees, fastest transactions and a better system of electronic cash.

To people understand the Bitcoin Cash is necessary to input on their heads that Bitcoin Cash is a better way to store money than the local wallets (for every 10 African living in the continent 5 of them have the M-pesa wallet, a service that enable africans to store they money besides banks) and also to express to them that holding money in Crypto wallets is more secure that this services most because they are centralised and anytime the service can be halted with Money people on them and demand more documents to be able to use this wallets.

Africa have more than 1,2 Billion people who live on the continent, 5 countries (Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Morocco and Uganda) have societies who have some knowledge in Crypto but still Maximalists, which somehow is good as Africa have more 47 countries that are willing to learn more about other coins and with a powerful dissemination Bitcoin Cash in this countries can secure a huge space.

There are many challenges to face when presenting Bitcoin Cash to Africans who are willing to learn, the big problem is that many still don't know much about other coins different that Bitcoin (BTC), many are Maximalists, but don't get it wrong for many years they have been influenced by the globalization media who have input on the African Minds that Bitcoin (BTC) is the best to the ones who want to get out of difficulties (which somehow made them believe in a gambling coin), which the same power they got influenced also can be given other coins to learn and benefit from them!

Bitcoin Cash is the best asset to the African reality, which have a lot to offer from cheap fees, transactions fast as lightning speed, and could be easy adopted as electronic payment in the same level which the best e-wallets used on the continent.

Won't be easy to adopt and use Bitcoin Cash in the African soil but it's possible and I believe in that!

If it comes to cryptocurrencies most people join this platform and others to earn cryptocurrencies for free. Not only BCH but Steem, Give, BAT, and whatever more they can lay their hands on. It's not specific for African countries. People search for a way to earn, earn easily. The present young ones aren't the hard workers, the savers not the investors of 50 - 100 years ago. We live in a world where the young ones demand, want luxury, and poverty we fought with scam.

To invest you need money you can miss. You need to be able to take risks and if it comes to investments you talk about the long term. It'snot gambling but risk and the kind of investment you might lose or no one will have the profit from if something happens to you, you die or a simple thing like the key to your wallet is lost. Besides no one knows of today's wallet still exists tomorrow, in two months or 5 years.
