Bitcoin Cash Has CASHTOKENS, But Can We Get a Little Awareness Please?

I love Bitcoin Cash, and I know that we are growing up and becoming stronger than ever. We have the best devs working full or part-time just to ensure everything is fine and properly managed on the chain. However, despite all that, we have been failing to raise awareness about the chain and especially about CASHTOKENS!

No doubt we are stronger now than 2 or 3 years ago, and with the CASHTOKENS upgrade, things really took a turn and are more wonderful than ever. After all, the May 15, 2023, upgrade brought to life awesome features for Bitcoin Cash, enabling smart contracts to run on it and everything else that comes with it! It opened a new era for Bitcoin Cash.

Before the CASHTOKENS upgrade, it was barely possible to imagine that Bitcoin Cash could fuel smart contracts, allowing, for example, decentralized finance on-chain or even giving possibilities to devs and regular people (yes!) to create fungible and non-fungible tokens on the BCH chain. But now it is possible, and that represents another level for Bitcoin Cash! And that's not all, as the introduction of CASHTOKENS didn't increase fees or alter the chain in any way but instead improved its security and scalability.

Projects started to adapt to the capabilities of Bitcoin Cash and began developing their products on it. One example of these is BCHBULL! BCHBULL is a next-level use-case platform that allows anyone, anywhere in the world, to leverage or hedge Bitcoin Cash against multiple assets such as fiat, gold, Bitcoin Core, etc., and benefit from the ups and downs of the BCH market. BCHBULL is a real gem! I could go on and talk about many other projects making a difference by utilizing the smart contract capabilities of Bitcoin Cash to create something amazing, but we can discuss that another time.

Today's point is to help us situate ourselves, yes, situate, as we are being naive in thinking that just because CASHTOKENS exist, the world will come to us without any effort from our side, including the projects, businesses, and community involved. That won't happen. We need to work to raise awareness and spread the word about CASHTOKENS and all their capabilities.

While Bitcoin Cash has amazing tech behind it and superior devs (even compared to Bitcoin Core, which is like a rock that investors are polishing into a diamond), we need to start giving work to creators and letting these people (like me) do their jobs. This will bring in souls, money, and interest from those wanting to build on CASHTOKENS. It's naive to think that just because we have a superior chain, devs will flock to it without being invited or seeing buzz about it on the internet. How can they discover the tech if it isn't being promoted and shared widely online?

I've seen some bad tech out there that doesn't even deserve to be in the top ten of the crypto industry market cap yet secures its space and traction because they sell their products and create trends online. One such example is SUI, which isn't a reliable chain and could stop producing blocks at any moment, yet it is gaining traction in the market and attracting whales. Why? Because they hire professionals to create content and invest heavily in marketing.

Not just SUI, but even Bitcoin Core invests a lot of money to keep that "rock" shining and to attract investors. They have orchestrated a whole system so that people in the crypto industry focus solely on Bitcoin Core. It's a well-oiled machine we can’t even imagine, yet it works and drives attention. What have we been doing to draw attention to our CASHTOKENS protocol?

We might be trying, but we need to try harder than we are today. We need to engage creators to do their jobs and attract people to the ecosystem—devs to build on the protocol and investors to put money into existing products! Seriously, I’m tired of seeing the Bitcoin Cash official group on Telegram stuck at 3,000 users for over two years, with the same people chatting every day. I don’t chat there, but it’s noticeable who and what are being discussed.

I would love to see Bitcoin Cash and its superior chain attract whales and involve more people with CASHTOKENS, but we need more effort in spreading the word and creating awareness about it. We are on the right track, but if you reflect on what I’ve written here, you’ll agree with me. If you do, I’m open to working, but don’t be naive—creators need to be paid to produce amazing, quality work on blogs that drive attention to CASHTOKENS and Bitcoin Cash.
