"If you can't handle criticism, you're in the wrong place."

First of all, I praise and congratulate the developers and companies that are building on top of the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, together they are doing excellent work and in recent years have brought a set of tools that will change the way people view the decentralized economy of Bitcoin Cash. More products are joining the large Bitcoin Cash family, such as BCHBULL , the zapit_io wallet and Paytaca app building awesome tools also onboarding in the Philippines.

Satoshi Angels also extreme valuable to the community doing what they do the best promoting, onboarding and helping people around the world setup meetups to talk about Bitcoin Cash.

We have a more robust Electron Cash wallet with an integrated Cashfusion service that allows users to transact privately and with more peace of mind in knowing that no one is snooping into personal finances, after all, everyone has the right to choose whether or not not disclosing how much you move online and how much you have at a given address.

The big highlight this year goes to CashTokens , which are a proposed new feature for the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) network that would allow the creation of tokens, Fungible and non-Fungible, on top of the BCH blockchain. These tokens can represent various assets like commodities, stocks and other financial instruments that can be used in DeFi and can be used for things like fundraising and investments completing the Bitcoin Cash economy.

Therefore, the CASHTOKENS chip proposal aims to introduce a new technology that will allow developers to create decentralized financial applications (DeFi) on top of the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) blockchain. This will allow a wider range of financial services to be offered directly on the blockchain, making it easier for people to access and use these services in a secure and decentralized way.

In addition, we also have developments in the onboard area with Bitcoin Cash Nigeria working hard to bring more knowledge to young Nigerians and anyone interested in learning about the currency in the territory with a lot of potential for the adoption of the P2P decentralized money. The same also goes for Australia, with Bitcoin Jason as always keeping the focus on having more and more people and businesses using Bitcoin Cash as a payment method.

In Florida, we have Ryan Griffin, who has been outstanding in promoting Bitcoin Cash and also as an onboarder, and recently bought a restaurant where Bitcoin Cashers will be able to enjoy a nice meal and pay using Bitcoin Cash, as well as hosting meetups to talk about Bitcoin Cash on the premises.

There are therefore a series of developments in the area of building products on top of the Bitcoin Cash blockchain, as well as an emphasis on physical onboarding and a strong desire to continue producing more for the ecosystem, but will these actions be enough?

Despite all the developments that have taken place in recent years in the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem, there is still a lot of work to be done. It is true that companies and developers work hard to maintain performance and create valuable products on the Bitcoin Cash network, but the same products and services that have been launched continue to be used by the same people who are part of the community.

The community did not develop in numbers and at some point it stagnated, marketing and advertising stopped and one of the platforms that attracted the most new members, read.cash , started to have less impact on the ecosystem, as well as noise.app (the upgrade noise.cash) starts to reveal weaknesses and consequently less use. The action is justifiable as the platform was supported by the tips obtained on read.cash to encourage users of the closed social platform of noise.app (only affiliates by direct invitation) to produce original and valuable material.

In numbers alone, the two platforms above have more than 400,000 users, with the possibility of some reduction since some accounts on the defunct noise.cash were unable to migrate accounts to noise.app, but maintaining a large number of users who daily lived the Bitcoin reality Cash. Of course, not everyone is/were from the Bitcoin Cash community, but the simple fact of being part of the ecosystem already held the knowledge to onboard one more member to choose whether or not to stay in the Bitcoin Cash community.

The lack of incentive led many of these people who once lived the Bitcoin Cash reality to migrate in search of other livelihoods, which isn't to be condemned, and joined new opportunities to create content feel valued. Bitcoin Cash, with this migration, loses a good number of content creator artists, talented people who in some way contributed positively to the dissemination of the BCH brand in the crypto market, after all, the more the network is used, the talk on social networks it creates curiosity and makes the Bitcoin Cash network valuable.

Additionally, the lack of incentives makes people feel less valued for the work they do and seek more favorable environments to work and get incentives, after all, they are important.

Another factor that makes our Bitcoin Cash space a bit closed is the lack, for example, of an open debate environment where newcomers can have or demonstrate their difficulties and be properly answered. Our chat group on Telegram, for example, is a space with almost 3000 members, which I consider to be quite a bit less, where the active members are mostly developers, focusing the conversation on technical aspects, often scaring away those who want to understand the simple "what is Bitcoin Cash or "what is it for".

Of course, no one is prevented from joining the group, but believe me, the subject often goes beyond the topic of the group, which is Bitcoin Cash, taking as an example, the week just ended where many were chatting on the topic "ordinals" (mostly will argue that because it's a hot topic right now, but they are shifting focus and also give more exposure to BTC brand) on the blockchain Bitcoin Core, diverting for example the long-awaited focal marketing of the year that is CashTokens. Someone already said on Twitter that "if CashTokens had the attention that the ordinals have more interesting the ecosystem could become."

Another well-known debate space is r/BitcoinCash on the Reddit platform. This space has been declining in the quality of discussions about Bitcoin Cash and as if that were not enough, the censorship of articles or even topics for debate has increased (believe me, I was banned once and reinstalled again and last December I was again prevented from publishing anything for 30 days, and I only publish Bitcoin Cash content!) often leading people to choose to publish material on r/btc where the level of censorship is eased.

As you can see at the beginning of the article, I mentioned the various achievements in the field of producing complementary tools that will enhance even more the importance of the Bitcoin Cash economy, as well as onboarders that take the promotion of the currency to merchants and users, but I did not mention, for example, websites that help newbies when they 'fall' into the Bitcoin Cash ecosystem, I didn't mention them because they don't exist or are obfuscated.

A big shout out to BCH Evangelists on Twitter that untiressly spread the word about the currency and it's benefits: kallisti, BitcoinCashautisist, btcfork, bitcoincashTV, BitcoinJason, TheBCHPodcast, SatoshiAngels, emergent_reasons and more.

Not while ago, I launched my Flipstarter and had positive and also negative feedback with certain people neglecting the importance of having a Blog, or Academy where anyone from anywhere in the world could have more information about Bitcoin Cash, its products, people who are part of the ecosystem and others trivializing the subject. Well, here's the reality:

Currently, we do not have a blog dedicated to developing the theme (besides whyBitcoinCash.com website by Kimdotcom) "Bitcoin Cash" for beginners, there is no space where emerging members can have support to better integrate themselves into the community and later clarify what it is about. We have an influential member of the community who led a Flipstarter to create an academy to teach newbies what Bitcoin Cash is all about, but it hasn't launched yet.

And even then, the website will not be enough for the flow required to promote and spread Bitcoin Cash to the next wave of the possible 1 billion that we aim to reach as Bitcoin Cash users. More education, marketing, advertising and other resources are needed for Bitcoin Cash to thrive in the crypto space.

Bottom line

Although we have come a long way in the field of producing tools on top of Bitcoin Cash and, with the likelihood of introducing CashTokens that will revolutionize the Bitcoin Cash space, much remains to be done.

It is necessary to realize that Bitcoin Cash is much larger than what our community shows today, we have a Telegram group far below the required number, a non-existent marketing system (despite being decentralized, there is room for the creation of a fund with a portfolio multisig to promote the BCH brand, which can be controlled by prominent figures in the community, a Flipstarter can be made for this), thus creating ambassadors, advocates or even Bitcoin Cash Angels in order to bring Bitcoin Cash to more places in the world.

This system can have accountability controlled by achieved objectives and also ensure that fewer people disperse in search of monetary incentives in other communities.

Dozens or even hundreds of contents are needed explaining what Bitcoin Cash is, what it is for, what products the network offers and much more. It doesn't worth nothing to have products and services in the community that complete Bitcoin Cash while there is no aggressive marketing system or Bitcoin Cash content creation as they will continue to be consumed internally and totally unknown by the external world that can contribute so much to the success of the blockchain, after all, who doesn't want to use a simple currency with lower fees and impressively fast when transacting online and even more, using it in DeFi products?

If possible, read.cash should not be left to its fate, mere mortals like me do not have the ability to influence Simon, the owner of the platform, but I believe that we have members in the community who could easily speak up and make the platform continue with the Bitcoin Cash incentive system, thus receiving more members who can be part of the community, after all, the community needs them!

And finally, don't forget that each one of us is important for the diffusion, expansion and adoption of Bitcoin Cash. Each is a tiny part of the larger Bitcoin Cash ecosystem and every action counts towards success.

Disclaimer:

Addressing issues is important to community growth because it creates a positive environment for individuals to engage in and fosters a sense of belonging. When issues are addressed in a timely and effective manner, it helps to resolve conflicts and build trust among members. This creates a welcoming and supportive community that is more likely to attract new members and retain existing ones. Addressing issues also promotes accountability and responsibility, which can help to prevent similar problems from occurring in the future. In short, addressing issues helps to maintain a healthy and thriving community that supports its members and encourages growth.
