Chilhood years of Kiara
Not everybody has experienced your childhood!
Kiara grew up from a simple living family composed of four siblings including herself, the only girl in the family. Her father worked as a security guard and her mother best took good care of all of them. She was in elementary years that time so with his brother next to her age.
Being the eldest, she was a very thoughtful and responsible daughter. She used to help her parents, most her mother in doing daily household chores. But she also have some flaws . .hehe of course we all have. .
Everyday during weekdays she used to wake up with her mother scolding her because she woke up very late at 7-8am while her classmate who lived from a remote area of their town already passed by their house ποΈ while she was still taking a bath which made her mother sad and mad. She used to live like that daily π.
After waking up from bed, she used to take a bath, then faced in the mirror and asked her mother what to wear, does this fits me?, and anything before she could dressed up herself for school π« π. Her mother was the one to prepare the food on the table and even their lunch pack which was a corn rice with cooked fish in vinegar and sometimes only dried fish for viand wrapped in a bananπ leaf . They just walked the distance from home to school which was really a little bit far from their house π‘ but they are used to it daily so they dont care the distance anymore.
When she arrived to school, her classmates were already done with the sharing period and the teacher is about to start the class. She felt shy but she still sits to attend her class. Even though she always came late for school, she managed to be always on the 2nd or 3rd place at the end of every school year.
When classes done, she used to go straight home, no loitering somewhere and began to do her assigned daily household chores. To help her mother, she did the cooking of π rice, while waiting the food to be cooked she fed their pig and swept their sorroundings and helped her brother on fetching water washing the dishes and to be used in their comfort room from the river. Then they will both went to a little bit far spring from their house to fetch water for drinking.
After they were done with their household chores assignment everyday, they will have now their free time, a time for them to play with their neighbors. As children, they used to play those games like jolen, dampa(rubber band), shatong, sungka, chinese garter, play play or the patintero, chokok, takyan, chakay, bulan bulan, dakpanay or habulan, lupa-langit, taksi, litik, bato-lata, swimming in the river, catching shrimps and crabs in the river, climbing fruit trees like lomboy, mangga, balimbing and many more. Shey really had fun during her childhood years with those fun games they had which we cannot see on children's of today because they are now on mobile gamings. At 6pm they used to be at their home so that their mother won't get mad and she used to prepare the table for their dinner.
When weekend comes, they used to go to the river with their mother to wash their clothes then laid them on the rocks after washing to dry under the sun π. In the afternoon after they had a nap π΄ they accompany their both parents to search for logs or firewood in the forest or in the mountains far from home. On Sundays they used to go to church with their mother ,sometimes with the whole family because their father was working daily and sometimes it fell on Sunday. In the afternoon she used to iron her school uniform and prepare everything for Monday including her tinda, because she used to sell to her classmates the foods her mother made just like tera-tera or sugar made candy, pancake and the yema balls. She also sold some others like green mangoes, chichirias and candies. Note, she didn't brought them all at the same time in school. She just brought to sell one of these kinds just a sideline so she still managed to focus on her studies.
Their parents really trained them while they were young. They were used to do those responsibilities which they will be doing by their own in the future. When there's nothing to do she did uproot the grasses growing in front of their π‘ or around their house and plant flowers too. Even not told to do so in her young age she used to do them without anyone supervising.
