The US dollar appreciated against the Pakistani rupee at the Interbank Foreign Exchange (IFEX) on Wednesday.\
According to the Forex Association of Pakistan, the buying rate of the dollar against the rupee rose by 5 paise to Rs 160.40 from Rs 160.35 and the selling price fell from Rs 160.60 to Rs 160.45 on the Interbank Foreign Exchange yesterday. The buying price of the dollar rose from Rs 160.20 to Rs 160.30 and the selling price rose from Rs 160.60 to Rs 160.70.
Among other currencies, the euro appreciated by 70 paise to Rs 193 from Rs 192.30 to Rs 193 and the selling price from Rs 194.30 to Rs 194.40. It increased from Rs. 214 to Rs. 215.50.
