Formal nikkah is that type of nikkah in which a molvi recite the words of nikkah(khutba) and the question are asked from a girl and boy that he she accepted one another or not. If both accept one anthor their nikkah have been made & if not accepted any of one of them than their nikkah have been cancelled.
