Being a teacher I have decided to explain Education. Here in my this article I am going to do it. I'll try my best to define education and would like to explain education according to Islam.

What is education?

Education is both the act of teaching knowledge to others and the act of gaining knowledge from someone else. Education also refers to the knowledge obtained via schooling or instruction and to the institution of teaching as a whole.

Another definition of education

Education is the deliberate, hopeful, and respectful nurturing of learning and transformation, with the belief that we should all have the opportunity to share in life.

Introduction:

Many people confuse education with schooling when they talk about it. People typically associate the word with places like schools or colleges when they see or hear it. They may also think about certain careers such as teaching or tutoring. The problem is that, while many schools and teachers are attempting to assist students in learning, their methods are not always what we can call educational. Paul Freire called this system of education as banking-making knowledge deposits. Such'schooling' can easily devolve into seeing students as objects to be acted upon rather than persons to be related to.Education, as we understand it in this country, is a process of admitting truth and possibilities into one's life, as well as encouraging and allowing time for exploration. It's a social process, as John Dewey described it: "a process of living, not a preparation for future life." Educators, in this perspective, focus on learning and being with others rather than acting on them.

Importance of education:

It encourages people of all ages, castes, creeds, faiths, and regions to study well throughout their lives. The process of gaining information, values, skills, beliefs, and moral habits is referred to as education. People must be more aware of the value of information than they have been in the past. A proper and good education is essential for all of us. It encourages people of all ages, castes, creeds, faiths, and regions to study well throughout their lives. The process of gaining information, values, skills, beliefs, and moral habits is referred to as education.

People must be more aware of the value of information than they have been in the past. Education is essential for everyone to improve their knowledge, way of life, as well as their social and economic standing throughout their lives. Everyone's right to a proper education is protected by the law, and restricting it is a crime.

Education is the most effective means of overcoming all personal and social issues. We must be educated in order to live a better and more tranquil life. It entirely changes us from the inside out, altering our thinking and personality while also increasing our self-confidence. It dramatically alters our life because it is constructive in nature. It aids in the acquisition of knowledge and the development of self-confidence throughout one's life. It has a major impact on both our professional and personal growth. It has no age limits, so anyone of any age can benefit from it at any moment. It assists us in determining what is good and what is evil.

An educated individual who has received a decent education becomes a good citizen in society. We all want to see our children succeed, which can only be accomplished through good and proper education.Every parent instills in their children the value of education in their lives as well as all of the benefits of education in order to encourage them to pursue higher education in the future. Make it a habit for your kids and children to write essays, participate in debates and discussions, and engage in a variety of other skill-building activities in school or at home by using simple essays.

Education according to Islam

Education In Islam

Since its inception, Islam has put a high value on education and has a long and illustrious intellectual legacy. Knowledge ('ilm) is highly valued in Islam, as indicated by the more than 800 references to it in the Holy Quran, Islam's most cherished scripture.

The Holy Quran

The significance of education is underlined throughout the Holy Quran, with frequent injunctions such as "Allah will exalt those of you who believe and have knowledge to high degrees."

"Increase my understanding, O my Lord," and "Let him write as God has instructed him." These verses serve as a powerful motivator for the Islamic community to pursue education and study.

Because of the Holy Quran's all-encompassing influence, Islamic education is distinct from other types of educational thought and practice. The Holy Quran is the major source of knowledge and serves as a comprehensive plan for both individuals and societies. For the mostly illiterate Arabian society, the arrival of the Koran in the seventh century was a watershed moment. Although Arab society had a strong oral tradition, the Koran was regarded as God's word and required organic interaction in the form of reading and repeating its verses. As a result, most Muslims aspired to read and write in order to get access to the Koran's complete blessings. As a result, education in Islam has an unmistakably symbiotic relationship with religious instruction.

In my next article I'll once again try my best to explain further.
