Hi friends, greetings to you all.

Once again I want to specially appreciate everyone who has been with me on the topic 'WHO AM I' This is the third part of the topic and I hope to be able to conclude all in this topic. Inspirations kept gushing and rushing all over my head. The more I write and tried to conclude on the topic, the more I found something more to write. This reminds me that the human mind is a well of revelation. When we put our minds to work, we draw out of the great well in us.

In the first part, I mentioned the three keys that are necessary in order to answer the question about our identity. In the second and third part, I focused of the first and second key, which are, GIFT and PURPOSE. This two are very important for the question "'WHO AM I?" to be answered correctly, because the third key is the the answer to the great and challenging question.

You can check my previous posts on the topic 'WHO AM I?

Today I'll be focusing on the third key which is, DISCOVERING YOUR IDENTITY. At the end of this part, I trust that youll be able to give a clear definition of who you are.

● DISCOVERING YOUR IDENTITY.
So far I have been able to establish that the human gift is an inherent capacity to fulfill a specific function on the planet. I also established that 'Your gift is what you know how to do naturally'. When we moved to the key of PURPOSE, I established that 'Your purpose is what you were born to do with your gift'.

Having been able to to establish these basic truths, self discovery becomes simple.

I have pondered over a certain paradox at a time and that is, "If every human has gifts, and two people can have the same gift. How then do we different between two people?"

But as I went on my research I found out that PURPOSE can not be duplicated. No two people in the world have the same purpose. What makes two singers distinct from each other is PURPOSE.

Example ;
If I buy two cups of the same size, same design, shape and color from the market and take to my house. I may not be able to distinguish between the two cups the moment I took them home, because both cups have the same gift, I.e they both have the ability to hold water or any liquid(that is their gift). It is difficult for me to tell the difference between the two cups since they have the same size, same design, same shape and same color, they have the same gift and everything is the same. But if I decided to put one in the kitchen and the other in the toilet, I have made it simpler by giving each one different niche to operate and manifest their gifts. Assigning each one to different niches is same as giving them different purposes to perform. One has its purpose in the kitchen and the other cup has its purpose in the toilet.

Therefore, the difference between any two people in life is not the color of their skin, it's not their height, it's not their voice, its not their family background, not even their gift. The difference between two people in the world is the PURPOSE which they serve the world. This is why it is possible for two singers to sing about the same topic but come up with different lyrics and different styles even when they feature in the same song. They both release their jobs under their unique PURPOSE just like the two cups in the same house.

So it is clear that what differentiates two people in life is PURPOSE. Purpose gives clarification on identity.

Like those two cups, I can now say; This cup is meant to serve in the kitchen and the other cup is made for the toilet. That it's the power of PURPOSE. It gives clarity on definition.

The point is, you need to know your GIFT, Know your PURPOSE, That is when you can define yourself(IDENTITY).

Remember your gift is what you know how to do, your purpose is what you were born to do with your gift and you are the person of your purpose. Just like Billgate, he has a gift called Microsoft, he has a purpose to simplify complex computer from DOS into WINDOWS, He is that guy who is using his gift(Microsoft) to fulfill a purpose(simplifying the computer), that's his identity.

In other words your identity is known by your ability to apply your GIFT in the fulfillment of your PURPOSE. It is also your ability to provide solution to a problem through your gift. So if you are to answer the question "WHO AM I?" Your answer would be, "I am this person, serving this gift(your gift) to the world in this given environment(your niche) for this unique reason(your purpose).

'WHO ARE YOU? Think about it and give a clear answer.'

In conclusion, Your gift is what you know how to do, your purpose is what you were born to do with your gift and your are that person fulfilling that purpose.

Thanks for reading.
