What Shall I Render to God For His Benefits?

👉 Deliverance from falling into sin.

David in a great distress prayed to God and God heard all his supplications. In view of the magnitude of the wonderful deliverances, he declared to pay his vow to God.

👉 He made a vow because God heard his voice and his supplications.

👉 He made a vow because God delivered him from the sorrows of death, and the pains of hell got hold of him. As a result, David vows that

👍 He will love the Lord, and walk before Him uprightly.

👍 He will offers the sacrifices of thanksgiving to the Lord.

Because God blessed him bountifully and preserved him from evil machinations. Our God remain faithful to His promises. God frustrated the agenda of the wicked and cancel evil plans.

Brethren, we have every cause to give thanks to God, right from the commencement of the prayer programme. God made us to record landslide victories in all aspects. A man of God defines praise “Praise is an active response to what we know that God has done and is doing for us in our lives and in this world through His Son Jesus Christ and the person of the Holy Spirit.” (Carothers 1972, 17).

Praise revolutionizes lives, praise boosts faith and praises alters and gives direction. Jehoshaphat was confronted with wars but God directed him to appoint Levites, at the end of the day there was a victory. Consider what God did for you in the times past, the same God is still in existence and He is still doing great things.

Nehemiah declared that, “the joy of the Lord is my strength” Neh. 8:10.

We need to give thanks to God over everything. You must appreciate God for all His goodness and faithfulness. Jesus Christ always cultivates the habit of giving thanks, even in the midst of complexities and difficulties.

Praise ridicules mountains, praises move the hand of God, you can pray amiss but you can’t praise amiss, therefore continue to praise God, appreciate God. Praise is a lifter. When you praise God, it makes God to be delighted in you. Rejoice always 1st Thessalonians 5:16 & 18. When you praise, healing surfaces.

🙏 Oh Lord, let the great multitude of the wicked ones be put to shame.

🙏 Oh Lord, let me know what to do when the great multitude besiege me with the intention of pulling me down.

🙏 Oh Lord, raise a divine help for me.

🙏 Oh Lord, I will pay my vow,because of the great deliverances from the evil arrangements.

🙏 As Jehoshaphat weaponized praise, oh Lord teach me how to use praise as weapon.
